I bought my latest car from Davidsons, not entirely without trepidation as I live at Edinburgh and didn't want to have to make two journeys down to Newcastle, one to see it and one to collect it. But Davidson's were quite happy to carry out the necessary preparatory work by phone and the deal was struck, even though I wasn't going to be able to see the car until I went to pick it up. . I was also trading in my old car which they wouldn't be able to see until it took it down to them. But I need not have worried. From my initial contact with them right through to driving away with the new car everything was nothing less than excellent. I quickly felt confidence in the firm. At no time did I feel I was being pressurised into buying. They accepted my valuation of my old car and didn't try to haggle. It was just good old fashioned service based on trust. I have no hesitation in recommending Davidson's whatsoever.
